  • Paul Curran has a topical contribution poetry wise
  • Gemma Nelson(Jazz628 on NCCR) gives us some background notes…
  • Expect an eclectic musical mix..but a set from Traffic and Jim Capaldi, and a closing 40’s set….

  • Beethoven 6th Symphony(Pastorale)

Claude Debussy’s La Mer (on 115th anniversary of its premiere… …

Otto Klemperer conducts Frederic Chopin’s Piano Concerto No 2 on the 170th anniversary of the composer’s death…

On 18th October 1904 Gustav Mahler’s 5th Symphony premiered in Cologne.. and midway expect Kenneth Woods to give us some insights into Mahler’s mind…

Also expect a little hot trumpet from Wynton Marsalis..and news from the English Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Swan, the Cheltenham Chamber Orchestra, the Cheltenham Philharmonic Orchestra, the Evesham & District Music Club….

And some film and TV music!!
