So, what to expect “In the Cooler” this week..??

With 20th July being the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, expect some related music!! We might even get to hear about life on Mars!! It’ll be an outer space kind of segment, and I hope we are not “spaced out”!!!!

Our resident poet , Paul Curran, will certainly have something for us “out of this world” in his contribution ….

Festival time is now well and truly upon us!!

Intrepid reporters from NCCR were at Cornbury, and caught up with a few of the acts..

And there is more to come!!

The first ever Over the Hill festival at Cogges Manor Farm Witney, presented by Glovebox Live featuring Americana music..( Bank Holiday Monday 26th August )

And before that – Fairport Convention’s Cropredy Festival ( Thursday 8th to Saturday 10th August 2019 ).. with a newly announced special guest…

In the studio..Jon Buxton will be telling us all about the music of Heronimus Fin.. “Record Collector Magazines readers vote the band consistently in their top 500 collectable artists 6 years running (even toppling Syd Barrett, The Stereophonics, Cream, The Eagles, The White Stripes, Foo Fighters, Robert Plant, Joe Satriani, Can, Roger Waters) and John Vignola write in Italy’s alternative rock magazine Rockerilla “the capacity of the band to mix the tone and alternate the acoustics in a contagious electric riff, produces compositions filled with yearning and melancholy with total originality ….. our rational attempt stops here at the evident beauty of the sound” …
