On Sunday’s new edition of Cooler Classics, there are two planned interviews with Sarah Beth Briggs (New Album..The Austrian Connection) and Inbal Segev.(Dance!)

  • Pianist Sarah Beth Briggs conjures up an imaginative concept with The Austrian Connection. The album traces an arc through three decades of compositional tradition from Franz Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Franz Schubert through to Hans Gál.

Inbal Segev, together with Marin Alsop and the London Philharmonic Orchestra, performs Edward Elgar’s emotive Cello Concerto alongside the world-premiere recording of DANCE, a powerful five-movement work by English composer Anna Clyne, that was commissioned by Inbal.
