Two internationally renowned guest take centre stage this week on “Cooler Classics”

Misha Mullov-Addabo, a BBC3 New Generation Artist, is appearing at the Stratford Music Festival on Friday 20th September 2019. We were able to have a few words with him about his music and career so far..

Zubin Varla is the Rudolf Kempe Society’s 2019 Artist in Residence. he appeared at The Muses, Waterside, Stratford-upon-Avon a couple of months ago playing the piano during a recital evening with Anthony Negus and the Zephyr Ensemble, playing pieces by Bach, Greig and Nielsen. And also reciting poetry. He is better known as an actor with considerable stage and TV /film experience. He kindly spared a few minutes to speak with us on “Cooler Classics”.

Of course, you can expect to hear related music and enjoy an altogether uplifting two hours.

NCCR “Cooler Classics” Monday 2nd September 2019 & Listen Again…

So you missed the live broadcast of “Cooler Classics” tonight?
Not to worry..you can listen to the whole show on the “Listen Again” feature….
The main item was a look at the career of the late Rudolf Kempe. There is an international Rudolf Kempe Society based in Stratford-upon-Avon, and it was there that I met my interview guest Anthony Negus, who was taking part in a recital with actor Zubin Varla and actress Ruth Lass.
Anthony reviews the recently completed Longborough Festival Opera season, and prepares (this week!!) for next year’s Festival!!
